01 — In short
Why do coaches wear gilets?
A gilet keeps the body warm without restricting the arms, so coaches can demonstrate drills. It layers over a drill top or under a rain jacket.
02 — Full spec
The typical spec.
Every line is checked with you and written on your spec sheet before a sample is made. Change anything to suit your design, market and budget.

03 — Choosing the fabric
Training fabrics compared.
Training wear is washed often and worn in all weather, so the fabric matters as much as the cut.
| Fabric | Typical weight | What it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Polyester interlock | 130–160 GSM | Smooth and light. Tees and drill tops. |
| Birdseye mesh | 120–150 GSM | Breathable for hot sessions. |
| Brushed polyester–elastane | 200–280 GSM | Soft inside and warm. Quarter-zips and pants. |
| Woven micro-fibre | 90–150 GSM | Light and quick-drying. Shorts and shells. |
| PU-coated polyester or nylon | 90–150 GSM | Waterproof shells and bench coats. |

06 — Selling in Europe, the UK or the US
Labels for your market.
Tell us where you sell and we set the labels up for that market. If you need lab test reports, ask in your enquiry and we confirm what is possible in your quote.
European Union
Fibre names and percentages on the label under Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011. Care symbols to ISO 3758 are standard. REACH limits certain substances in textiles, such as some azo dyes.
United Kingdom
Fibre composition labels under the Textile Products (Labelling and Fibre Composition) Regulations 2012, plus care symbols.
United States
Fibre content, country of origin ("Made in Pakistan") and your RN number or company name under the FTC textile rules, and care instructions under the FTC Care Labeling Rule.
Kids' sizes
Drawstrings in children's clothing follow EN 14682 in Europe. In the US, children's products need CPSIA tracking labels, and hood drawstrings on children's upper outerwear are treated as a hazard (16 CFR 1120).
Water-repellent finishes
The EU restricts some PFAS chemicals used in water-repellent finishes, and several US states, including California and New York, restrict PFAS in clothing. Ask for a PFAS-free finish for these markets.
07 — How ordering works
