01 — In short

What makes a good training tee?

A training tee is worn and washed more than any match shirt, so it needs a light polyester fabric (130–160 GSM) that wicks sweat, dries fast and keeps its colour. Raglan sleeves give extra freedom for drills.

02 — Full spec

The typical spec.

Every line is checked with you and written on your spec sheet before a sample is made. Change anything to suit your design, market and budget.

06 — Selling in Europe, the UK or the US

Labels for your market.

Tell us where you sell and we set the labels up for that market. If you need lab test reports, ask in your enquiry and we confirm what is possible in your quote.

  • European Union

Fibre names and percentages on the label under Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011. Care symbols to ISO 3758 are standard. REACH limits certain substances in textiles, such as some azo dyes.

  • United Kingdom

Fibre composition labels under the Textile Products (Labelling and Fibre Composition) Regulations 2012, plus care symbols.

  • United States

Fibre content, country of origin ("Made in Pakistan") and your RN number or company name under the FTC textile rules, and care instructions under the FTC Care Labeling Rule.

  • Kids' sizes

Drawstrings in children's clothing follow EN 14682 in Europe. In the US, children's products need CPSIA tracking labels, and hood drawstrings on children's upper outerwear are treated as a hazard (16 CFR 1120).

  • Water-repellent finishes

The EU restricts some PFAS chemicals used in water-repellent finishes, and several US states, including California and New York, restrict PFAS in clothing. Ask for a PFAS-free finish for these markets.

08 — Questions

About the training tee.

More answers on the FAQ page.

Can training tees match our match kit?

Yes. Send your kit design or colour references and the training range is made to match.

Can each age group have its own colour?

Yes. Many academies use one colour per age group so coaches can spot groups at a glance.

Are cotton training tees available?

Yes, but polyester dries faster and keeps its shape better for regular training.
