What is a rash guard?
A rash guard is a tight, stretchy top that protects the skin from mat burn, friction and sun. In BJJ and grappling it is usually worn under or instead of a gi top.

03 — Choosing the fabric
Compression fabrics compared.
Compression depends on stretch and recovery. The blend and the weight set how firm it feels.

Nylon blends do not sublimate well, so logos on nylon are printed or heat-transferred.

06 — Selling in Europe, the UK or the US

European Union
Fibre names and percentages on the label under Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011. Care symbols to ISO 3758 are standard. REACH limits certain substances in textiles, such as some azo dyes.
United Kingdom
Fibre composition labels under the Textile Products (Labelling and Fibre Composition) Regulations 2012, plus care symbols.
United States
Fibre content, country of origin ("Made in Pakistan") and your RN number or company name under the FTC textile rules, and care instructions under the FTC Care Labeling Rule.
Kids' sizes
Drawstrings in children's clothing follow EN 14682 in Europe. In the US, children's products need CPSIA tracking labels, and hood drawstrings on children's upper outerwear are treated as a hazard (16 CFR 1120).
07 — How ordering works
Brief, sample, then bulk.
Send your logo, colours, sizes and quantity for the rash guard. You get a written spec and quote, approve a sample, then your order is made, checked and packed under your label. Minimums and dates are confirmed in your quote.
What is a ranked rash guard?
A rash guard in the colour of the wearer's belt rank, often required at BJJ competitions under no-gi rules.
Can it be used for surfing?
Yes. Rash guards are worn in water for sun and board protection.
Will sublimation crack?
No. Sublimation is dyed into the polyester, so it stretches with the fabric.
